Our priority is making sure you feel important and inspired every step of the way … without getting grey hairs worrying whether everything is going to work out. ‘Cause, with us here, not only is the final product is going to blow your mind and knock your socks off, but you’ll actually enjoy every moment of the experience, too!

step one

The Design Therapy Sesh

If you’re considering ASR as your go-to design gang (great taste!), your first step is to book in for your free 30-minute Design Therapy Sesh. We’ll get to know each other a little better – lucky us! – and uncover the problems and potential with your current home.

From here (and if our stars are aligned), we’ll schedule an in-person meeting to kick start our Exploratory Design Phase where we will unlock the juicy details of your project.

step two

Exploratory Design Phase aka Busting the budget bogeyman

We know you might not think talking numbers is the most fun-filled part of the journey, but here at ASR we love diving into the digits to problem-solve how to best bring your space to life. We’ll refine your initial investment budget and collect quotes from specific trade professionals to develop a complete picture of your project scope of work.

Meeting #1 Programming

Your desired aesthetics (aka how you want your space to look)

Meeting #2 As-Builts

We bring in our experts to measure and draw out your home so we have a digital set of plans to start your project off accurately

Meeting #3 Contractor Walk Through

We love budget numbers so that you know what your project investment will be.
We walk through your home with our fav contractor to talk about all the design details we have been gushing over to get a preliminary quote for construction.

step Three

Planning makes perfect aka the Design Phase

We’ll put together a custom timeline for your project that will outline all our meetings throughout the design phase. Next, we dive deeper into planning your dream home by pulling together:

Detailed demo plan, proposed plans, elevations, and details
Permit Plans if needed
Shopping trips
Selections and samples for your lighting, furniture and finishes (only the best of the best, naturally)
Samples of finishes for you to touch and feel

It’s basically as fun as wedding planning (or at least cake tasting!), but better, ‘cause all you’ve gotta do is relax and let us do the hard work for you.

step four

Done-for-you procurement

Get in, gorgeous. We’re going shopping! Okay, not really. You can stay at home or go on a vacay. We’re going to walk the mall miles and round up the contractors for you. This is when we get super pedantic about our planning to ensure everything arrives in accordance with the construction timeline (so you don’t have a plumber without a sink to work on!)

During this time, we’ll:

Purchase all items for your space
Track orders + asses lead times
Take care of quality control of the items arriving
Oversee returns or exchanges as needed
Work directly with our vendors to prepare for the construction stage
All items are shipped directly to our receiving warehouse and getting prepped for white glove delivery

step five

Pain-free project management

The drama is in the details – which is why we’re here to take over the big and little details of designing (and bringing to life!) your dream home. We’ll cheerfully collaborate with builders, vendors and fabricators to ensure your design details are well-crafted and well-executed.

Then, we’ll be your fierce protectors during the construction stage to troubleshoot any plot-twists that pop up and keep your project humming along according to plan. ‘Cause we know construction can have a bad rep for being messy and overwhelming, but with the ASR Design Gang that rep will seem like a long-forgotten myth.

Our pain-free project management includes:

Site visits as needed during the construction process (we’ve got our hardhats ready and waiting!)
Problem solve any issues that might arise during construction
Ongoing collaboration with all professional trade team members
Punch List review at the end of the project to ensure every detail has been taken care of
Photos and videos of the construction process

step six

The big reveal (get the bubbly handy!)

We’ll be counting down the days until construction is complete and then we’ll roll up our sleeves and slide into your space to oversee the delivery of all furniture. Once your gorgeous bits and pieces have arrived, our Transformation Team will put everything in place and style your space.

Style your home for a magazine worthy space
Design Binder that includes all drawings, spec sheets, warranties, + product care

Then, it’s the red-carpet roll-out to walk you through your home’s magazine-worthy final transformation. Warning: There may be tears (and not just from us!) We love seeing your eyes light up at the sight of your new home.

Finally, we’ll hand over a Dream Home Care Kit to guide you in keeping your new items pristine and perfect for years to come.

We’re here for the long-haul, baby … just like your new interior design items! We’re proud to be pedantic about the quality of items we choose and use in your home. If it’s easily breakable, it won’t make it into your home.
We’re design diplomats here to problem-solve, troubleshoot and slap away any pesky problems that dare to haunt and daunt your design journey (and we’re whisper quiet about it – so you won’t know about a problem until it’s already been solved! Phew.)
With our detailed drawings and renderings (that are basically a work of art in themselves, btw) you’ll be able to easily and eagerly envision your new home.
Our project management is proactive. We’re logistical legends and love nothing more than overthinking every detail of your design to protect you from getting overwhelmed. From hunting down products and conducting weekly conference calls with the contractors through to providing them with spec sheets and detailed drawings so they have everything on site and ready to roll, we’ll be there to keep your design project on time and running smoothly.
