Project 22

The Historic First Home: ASR Furnish and Style with a Main Floor Build out

Meet Project 22: A charming historical home situated in the Noe Valley, the Project 22 property was a masterpiece of stunning Edwardian accents and aspects just waiting to be showcased and showed off with the right design.

Built in 1911 and purchased by our newly engaged clients as their first home, the vision for Project 22 was to create a sanctuary equally suitable for both work and play (as well as plants, pets and guests!)

We couldn’t wait to get started!😉

FURNISH AND STYLE WITH A MIAN FLOOR BUILD

We started with a space that was stunning but separated and dated. Our clients wanted to make their main floor flow seamlessly from indoor to outdoor and give their home an open, airy, clean, fresh and timeless atmosphere.

Our wedded-to-be’s were BIG hosts with a talent and love for cooking, so we prioritized updating their kitchen space with all new appliances and a gorgeous island perfect for creating culinary concoctions. We paired feature tiles with warm cabinetry and made sure they had plently of cabinets for extra storage.

Finally, we turned their sunroom into an office space by installing built-in floating timber shelves (perfect for plant growing!) and a desk area drenched in natural light.

The old entry was light and bright but bare and underutilised the potential of the space. So, we warmed it up by painting the stairs Benjamin Moore Black Beauty and then installed a mid-century console table that would maximise functionality for extra storage and style.

The powder bath was designed to invite visitors into a personality-packed tropical oasis. We focused on complementary patterns and color to make the small space feel expansive and welcoming.
