PRIMARY BATHROOM REMODEL
Project Gabilan
Meet Project Gabilan: Our clients envisioned a bathroom that would allow them to age in place as their needs changed over time. Blending accessibility features with a thoughtful aesthetic design was essential in creating a space that is both highly functional and beautifully inviting.
We couldn’t wait to get started!😉
A Thoughtful ADA Bathroom:
ASR Primary Bath Remodel
featured project
We began with a bathroom divided into two rooms, so we removed the separating wall and door to create a more open and spacious environment.
To maximize storage, we designed a custom vanity featuring drawers below the counter and a linen cabinet above the counter. We chose pulls instead of knobs for easier gripping, ensuring seamless access to the cabinet and drawers.
“Working with the ASR Design Studio team on our bathroom remodel was a wonderful experience. They really listened to our concerns about safety and accessibility, and turned our cramped, outdated space into something open, warm, and welcoming. The grab bars are thoughtfully integrated, the layout flows beautifully, and we feel confident the design will support us for years to come. We couldn’t be happier with the result.” - Sandra
PROJECT DETAILS
We installed grab bars in both the shower and toilet areas for enhanced safety. Additionally, the towel bars also serve as grab bars, ensuring there’s always something to hold onto for added support while moving around.
To further accommodate mobility needs, we expanded the shower area to allow for wheelchair access or walking devices, providing ample space for assisted bathing if necessary.
