Remodel Investment Minimum: $15K

New Build Investment Minimum: $250K

 

  • This is how much money you have set aside to for all the items you will need to complete a space such as a bathroom, kitchen, or laundry room. This number does not include the cost of your contractor.

    We create and share detailed investment spreadsheets with our clients so you can see where your money is being spent. We love mixing high end items with low budget items to help save you money while also creating a space that you love.

While home remodels can be exhausting, San Diegan life isn’t meant to be stressful. We know that getting your kitchen decoration and remodel right is important for your stress levels and your budget. But don’t fret; that’s why we’re here. Our team has completed lots of kitchen renovations that start from the bones and leave our clients with something out of a magazine.

Ok I’m curious…What’s the process like?

We’re already bubbling over with excitement! Our process is completely unique and tailored to you, but we’ve got a tried and tested process that we know works! We also have a bunch of fun along the way!

 

First, it starts with a design therapy sesh! Think of us as in the same way you would when talking to your friends, chatting about what the problems are in your home and what you think could be done to fix them. We set aside 30 minutes and hear everything you have to say.

 

Then, we get together for a consultation to dive in deeper into your project goals, your investment budget, your aesthetics, and the ASR design process.

The exploratory design phase is where we develop a realistic budget that you are comfortable with. During this phase, we’ll talk about initial design ideas, mood boards, space planning, and contractor walk-throughs. This is where we can give you a sense of what your dream home could turn into.

In the design phase we start to implement our plan! That’s right, you leave us to our own devices, sit back, maybe sip on a marg or two and wait to hear from us. We plan everything (some even call us logistical legends). Once we’ve made up our minds about what we think you’ll love, we present you with a comprehensive design plan! This would include your detailed floor plans, elevations, 3D Renderings and investment spreadsheet. We also pull selected products, finishes, and of course, samples! Who doesn’t love a sample?!

 

Are you ready to hear what’s next? (psst, it’s the most fun)...Our team gets to go shopping for all those items you are obsessing over! We order approved items, inspect items when they arrive and oversee delivery. We take care of handling any damaged or discontinued items and the logistics of tracking them down to ensure everything arrives on time.

 

Then we really get to planning, the nitty gritty. That kind of vibe. We work with our trusted contractors to make sure everything is in place for your San Diego home remodel or new house design. Working our logistical skills (remember, we’re logistical legends), we project manage to perfection, and we’ll make sure all contractors and trades know exactly what they need to do and where they need to go.

 

And Ta-Da! Once the construction is complete, you’ll have us come in and style everything down to the smallest details! You’ll have your dream home in San Diego in no time! And as our final piece of work, we hand over a Dream Home Care Kit. This is your guide to keeping all of your items in tip-top shape for years to come!

  • Our Exploratory Design phase allows us to create an overall budget that you are comfortable moving forward with that allows us to stay on budget and on schedule

  • If you are living in your home during the remodel phase, its important to keep some things in mind.

    • Lots of noise and dust

    • If working on a certain room, the crew will try to contain it with plastic entrance however dust does creep

    • Crew coming in around 7-8 am and leaving around 3-5 pm

    • Projects can last 2-3 months or longer depending scope of project and if crew members get covid and project has to go on hold

    • Longer lead times due to covid

    • During Exploratory Design Phase - we will estimate out timeline of construction with GC

    • If you work from home, its best to start working from the office or a coffee shop

  • Your remodel total investment depends on size of home and scope of work. Here are a couple ranges that you can use as your guide.

    Kitchen

    • Good $40-$60 k

    • Better $75-$90 K

    • Best $150-$200k

    Primary Bathroom

    • Good $20-$30k

    • Better $40-$60k

    • Best $75-$100k

    Kids Bathroom

    • Good $10-$20k

    • Better $20-$30k

    • Best $30-$40k

  • Depends on size of home and scope of work. We will work with your contractor to create a timeline for you.
