Meet Ariel
Hi, I'm Ariel. I'm so glad you're here.
If you've found your way to this page, chances are something about your home isn't quite working. Maybe it feels dated, or cluttered, or like it belongs to someone else. Maybe you've been living around a problem for years, and you're tired of it.
I want you to know that feeling is more common than you think, and it's exactly where so many of my favorite projects began.
My story
Where it all began
I grew up in the Bay Area, where I first fell in love with how a space can change the way you feel. That love led me to a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from The Art Institute of California–San Francisco, and later a Master's in Interior Architecture from the Academy of Art University.
In 2008, I founded ASR Design Studio. More than 18 years later, I still get the same quiet thrill when a family walks into a finished room and exhales.

I KNOW WHAT
a home has to hold
Today I live in North County San Diego with my husband, our daughter and our dog. So I know firsthand what it means for a home to hold real life: busy mornings, toys underfoot, muddy paws, and the small moments in between.
I've also been through a major remodel of my own. I know it's not just about picking pretty things. It's a time commitment, an emotional marathon and a financial juggling act, all at once.
