How We Work With Designers
We start with a discovery call to understand your studio, project needs, timeline, and scope. This helps us determine the best level of support—whether it’s drawings, 3D modeling, presentations, or ongoing help.
2️⃣ Project Intake & Information Gathering
To accurately estimate and begin work, we ask designers to provide as much of the following as available:
- As-builts, or dimensions of spaces
- Photos of the space (or listing photos if applicable)
- Address (for site context if needed)
- Inspirational images or mood boards
- Desired outcome and overall design intent
- Scope of work and project priorities
- Specific needs (permit drawings, GC drawings, elevations, 3D models, renderings, etc.)
3️⃣ Estimates, Retainer & Scheduling
Once scope is defined, we provide an estimate and timeline for deliverables.
- Work is billed hourly
- A $2,000 retainer is collected upfront and applied to the project
- Hours are carefully tracked, and we provide ongoing visibility into time spent
- We communicate regularly as milestones are reached
- Design Time for Drawings + 3D Modeling: $110/Hr
- Admin Time: $75/Hr
We support designers through multiple phases of the project, including:
- Drawings: Floor Plan, Elevations, Tile Layout, Cabinetry Layouts, GC Drawing Sets, Permit Sets
- 3D models/Renderings and rendered elevations
- Design presentations and client-facing materials
- Finish, lighting, and material sourcing
- Ordering coordination as needed
- All project files are organized and shared digitally, ensuring clear access and version control.
