We love organization and a clean closet just as much as the next interior designer, open closets are a trend that we love seeing! But the trick is to have a combination of both open and closed spaces, that way if you want to hide some messy areas you don’t have to worry about always being organized. Open closets are all about showing off your organization and the beauty of your closet system whether it's a beautiful wood or a bright and funky color.
If you plan on going down the route of an open closet, you'll want to ensure that your hangers are all matching, and investing in some matching storage bins (another place to hide messy stuff) will be well worth it and your closet will look incredible.
Vibrant colors
If you've seen our recent projects, you'll know we're a sucker for bright, punchy colors. Keeping it on theme with our modern coastal vibe, we know that sometimes a wardrobe or closet needs a punch of color. It's a great way to add a lot of impact in a small space.
When we talk about vibrant colors, this doesn't necessarily mean hot pink cupboards; vibrant can be something softer, like dusty pink or maroon. Whatever color you choose to add will depend on what else you have going on in the interior of your home.

While we are fans of funky, fun, and elegant door handles, sometimes we opt out of using them. By eliminating the door hardware you are allowing the material of your door to shine, whether its a gorgeous wood finish or a vibrant color. This trend is ideal for those who love and are going for a minimalist vibe as their interior design style. The slim design is also perfect for smaller homes in the San Diego area.

Creating a smart home has become so easy with technology at our fingertips. A great way to personalize your closet is to add in some technology, here are a few of our favorites.
