Ariel Richardson
Ariel Richardson is the Owner and Principal Designer of ASR Design Studio, known for creating refined, thoughtfully curated homes that elevate the way her clients live each day. With over 17 years of experience in the design industry, Ariel brings a sophisticated and deeply intentional approach to every project—balancing beauty, function, and the emotional impact of a well-designed space.
She believes that a home is more than just visually appealing—it has the power to influence how you feel, how you move through your day, and how you connect with those around you. Through a highly personalized, full-service process, Ariel transforms interiors into spaces that feel effortless, supportive, and uniquely aligned with each client’s lifestyle.
Ariel holds a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from The Art Institute of California–San Francisco and a Master’s in Interior Architecture from the Academy of Art University. She is also CCIDC certified, reflecting her commitment to the highest professional standards.
Born and raised in the Bay Area, Ariel now lives in Southern California with her husband, their beautiful toddler daughter, and their dog. They chose to settle in Southern California to be closer to family—a value that deeply influences Ariel’s perspective on creating homes that foster connection, comfort, and everyday living at its best.
Now serving clients in San Diego and beyond, Ariel is passionate about designing homes that not only look beautiful, but feel transformative—spaces that restore, inspire, and invite you to slow down and truly enjoy where you live.

As Studio Manager, Sarah is the operational backbone of ASR Design Studio. She manages timelines, coordinates with vendors and contractors, and ensures each project runs smoothly from start to finish. Her attention to detail and ability to anticipate needs allows the design process to feel organized, efficient, and completely supported.
Katlyn brings our design concepts to life through detailed technical drawings and plans. With a strong understanding of construction and spatial planning, she ensures every element is thoughtfully documented and clearly communicated. Her work is essential in translating design vision into a precise roadmap for execution.
Robert, of Circuit & Saw Handyman Services, is a trusted partner who supports the final phases of our projects. From installations to finishing touches, his craftsmanship and reliability ensure that each detail is executed with care.
