Firstly, it begins with a Design Therapy sesh. Think of this as a fun brainstorm with our team. If your ready to move forward, we come to your home for a consultation where you get to show us your Pinterest board, and we give you an idea of what we’re able to create. And, of course, we talk numbers. Our team is proudly transparent about all of the details, so you know exactly where every penny is going. The whole point of the session is for you and us to get on the same page so we can design your dream bathroom.
You’ll get renderings, floor plans, and of course, swatches and samples! You tell us what you love and what you’d like changed. Once we’ve ironed out all of the details and you’ve given us the sign-off, we get to work! We’ll let you know a construction start date and fill you in on all the details of what’s happening and when. And then, drum roll, please! We present to you the bathroom of your dreams! I know, we’re screaming with excitement too!
How long does it take to remodel my bathroom in Carlsbad?
Your project scope of work to create your dream bathroom will determine the timeline. For example, if you’re just wanting some tiles replaced and styling, this may only take a month. But! If you’re looking for a full bathroom remodel, we’re in it for the long haul! A full remodel can take a couple months to complete, with some extra wiggle room for any potential wait times.

If your doing a major remodel to the bathroom and its your only one, you will not be able to use it once demo starts. There will be a port a potty on site for restroom facilities but you will need to seek shower time at a friends house or the gym.

Yes and no. It depends on what your adding and if it greatly affect what has already been planned out. If its a paint, wallpaper, or furniture addition, that easy to add in. If your changing from a 36” to a 42” and the cabinets have already been ordered then there will be a cost involved to get the cabinet layout and sized changed.
I’m starting to get excited thinking about my bathroom. Do I need to do anything to prepare?
It’s never too early to get prepared for your bathroom makeover in Carlsbad! We love it when our clients are prepared. While this doesn’t take much, there’s plenty that you can do to get ready for the process.
First, grab as much inspo as you can! That’s right, we’re giving you our permission to scroll as much as you like on Pinterest and on the gram. This is a great way for us to see your style and vibe. We also recommend checking out our previous projects to see the kind of work that we do. It is even better if you create a mood board of what you have in mind.
Secondly, having a list of absolute musts is also great for us to know. This can be anything from all drawers and no cupboards or a backlit mirror. There are so many pieces that can be added to a bathroom, which are much easier to add during the process rather than after. Again, take your time scrolling through Pinterest and narrow down what you know will be a must in your home. However, with that being said, as much as we’d love to be your fairy godmother in bathroom designs, be flexible with your musts. Our team will work with you to do all that we can to make it work, but sometimes, compromise ends up being the best answer.
